DOMAIN BANK LAUNCHES .BIZ MINI-LANDRUSH

Domain Bank, Inc. announced today the launch of its pre-registration process for the infamous .BIZ '2B domain list' that are currently on registry reserve. There are about 40,000 domains that will be randomly distributed to applicants in this mini-land rush. Some of these domain names are considered very desirable such as money.biz, television.biz, and even sex.biz.

According to the .BIZ registry, domain names categorized as 2B are ones for which there were multiple applicants when the registry went live back in October of 2001 and are not yet allocated to any registrants.

"Domain Bank is only going to accept and submit one request per domain name," said Scott Hemphill, Vice President and General Counsel for Domain Bank. "People who didn't participate or get the domain they wanted in .BIZ last year now have a second chance to get some very attractive domain names."
